нагрудным знаком «Отличник РККА» (пр. № 530 от 6.11.1940 г. НКО СССР). Участник Великой Отечественной войны. Согласно Директивы ГШ от 1962 г. № 203354 (О правильном толковании участия в боевых действиях в 1941-1945 гг.) – в начальный период войны Московское ВИУ принимало участие в обороне Москвы в полном составе (10-24.10.1941, 22.4.-18.11.1942). Награждён медалью «За оборону Москвы» (акт вручения от 10.8.1944 г. Московского ВИУ). Старший лейтенант. На 1945 – преподаватель Московского КВИУ. Капитан.
