Добровольно поступил на Военно-инженерные курсы в Сергиевом Посаде, переведенные (1920) в Москву, переименованные в Московские ВИК, преобразованные в Московскую ВИШ, переименованную (7.1923) во 2 Московскую ВИШ им. 3 Коминтерна.9.1923 – окончил 2 Московскую ВИШ им. 3 Коминтерна. Первый выпуск. Краском. Окончил Киевское военное училище. ... Участник Советско-финляндской войны (1939-40). Служил в составе 13А (2
формирование), сформированной (25.12.1939) во время войны на основе оперативной
группы комкора В.Д. Грендаля. После перегруппировки 13А
возобновила (13.2.1940) наступление, которое развивалось в крайне сложных условиях,
с большими потерями и при упорном сопротивлении финских войск. 21.2 удалось
прорвать первую, а 29.2 – вторую (из трёх) линию обороны финских войск. Однако
Ставка не была удовлетворена темпами наступления армии. Общие потери 13А за
период (26.12.1939-13.3.1940) составили 61,2 % от списочного состава, при этом
погибли и пропали без вести 20 704 бойца и командира (14,2 % от списочного
состава). По окончании войны 13А расформирована. За образцовое выполнение боевых заданий командования на фронте борьбы с
финской белогвардейщиной и проявленные при этом доблесть и мужество награжден
орденом Красного Знамени (Указ Президиума ВС СССР от 7.4.1940 г.). Служил в Одессе. Переведен в Днепропетровск (Одесский ВО). 26.5.1941 – начальник инженерной службы 7СК. Майор. Участник Великой Отечественной войны. Корпус передан (25.6.1941) в состав Южного фронта и приступил к отмобилизованию. Ставка передала (29.6.1941) корпус в состав 6А на Юго-Западный фронт, которая вела сдерживающие бои. Корпус прекратил отмобилизование и эшелонами переместился в район Шепетовки. Вступил в тяжелые оборонительные бои под Новоград-Волынском, Бердичевом, Житомиром, попал в окружение в районе Нового Мирополя, продолжали вести кровопролитные бои в окружении. Остатки корпуса вышли из окружения (19-20.7.1941). Корпус расформирован (8.1941). Пропал без вести (8.1941). Мать Екатерина Александровна во время войны проживала по адресу: Курская область, г.
